DEVELOPMENT
AND LEARNING
Personal
Development Programmes (PDPs)
In today's leaner organisations,
driven by constant change and the pressure to succeed, the
demands placed on those who make it to the top are wide-ranging
and intense. This often results in directors, managers, senior
professionals and staff needing to acquire new skills and
understanding quickly, just when the time available for this
development is diminishing.
PDPs are designed to match
the competencies of the management team and key staff with
the needs of the business. By careful assessment of the individuals
involved, linked with analysis of the business plan and each
person's part in it, we aim to create PDPs that deliver comprehensive
performance improvement throughout all areas of the business.
Essential constituents in
assuring the success of any Personal Development Initiative
includes:
The
Board must be fully committed to the project
The
Board must take ownership of the process and commit sufficient
resources to it
Each
individual must buy into and take responsibility for his/her
own personal development
Everyone
must realise that skill development is a continuous process
PDPs can be developed for
staff at all levels in an organisation, although the emphasis
is usually at director, manager and senior professional level.
The complexity, timescales and associated costs, therefore,
vary accordingly.
Learning
We do not set out to be a traditional
training company. We do, however, welcome the opportunity to share
our experience with clients who are dealing with a particular challenge.
Our portfolio of skills
development packages covers a broad range of topics which
relate to making the most of your human resource asset: successful
recruitment, headhunting, team building, personal development
plans, assessment and appraisal, restructuring and reshaping.
